AA/AMPS is a chemical substance synthesized through copolymerization of acrylic acid (AA) and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid (AMPS). Its chemical name is acrylic acid-2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid copolymer.
Product Use:
The molecular structure contains carboxylic acid groups with excellent scale inhibition and dispersion properties, along with strongly polar sulfonic acid groups, which exhibit significant scale inhibition against calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, zinc scale, and other deposits in water. It also demonstrates superior dispersion performance. When blended with organic phosphonates, it shows remarkable synergistic effects. Particularly suitable for water with high pH, high alkalinity, and high hardness, it is one of the most ideal scale inhibition and dispersion agents for achieving high-cycle concentration operation.
No blending with anion surfactant.
